Alternations enable you to adapt our standard products to your purpose. If goes without saying that these modifications are subject of certain dimension limitations, yet in many cases this service makes it possible to quote for special needs as standard catalog item.

reduces or increases the default P dimension

reduces or increases the default W dimension

reduces the overall length (general tolerances are not altered)

For Punches
Shortens the cutting shaft length. In order to keep the cutting length, please indicate XBR XL Stempel

For die buttons without head
No modification of cutting shape length B.

XL bei Butzen ohne Bund

For buttons with head

The head does not change in height whereas the B dimension is altered. If you wish to keep the cutting edge shape, please select XB option. XL Bundbuchse

XLB

Only for punches
Overall length shortened L1 length maintained

LL

Increases the precision level of total length L – the value of overall length remains the same, yet the tolerance field is narrowed to ±0.02.

XLL

Reduces the overall length, narrows the tolerance field to ±0,02.

Shortens the cutting shaft; if you wish to maintain the length of cutting shaft, please choose XBR option.

The height of head remains whereas B dimension is modified. If you wish to keep the cutting shap length , please choose XB option.

XT

Thins the head height (general tolerances remain).
Material is removed at the head side –an operation which diminishes the overall length L. if you wish to maintain the standard value of L dimension, please indicate this parameter once more by adding XL+value to the article number.

TT

Increases the precision level of head thickness – the dimension value remains the same, yet the tolerance field is narrowed to ±0.01.

XTT

Thins the head height whereas the tolerance field is narrowed to ±0.01

Material is removed at the head side –an operation which diminishes the overall length L. If you wish to maintain the standard value of L dimension, please indicate this parameter once more by adding XL+value to the article number.

XLD

only for punches
Alternate lead length
The XLD alteration fixes the punch shank length at 40 measured from the punch head. This eliminates pressing the entire shank through the holder.
