Parts removal including conveyor belt without external energy source

PICSY II (Press Work of Metal – Innovation Conveyor System) is a purely mechanically operated conveyor system for removing punching waste and good parts – without any external energy supply. The PICSY system uses the vertical stroke of the press to drive the conveyor belt.

PICSY ll structure:

Shafts/coupling	A flexible shaft or a simple shaft is required for the drive.

Functionality:

PICSY II is mounted on the press. The force is transferred from the upper unit to the lower unit by the stroke of the press.
The lower unit converts the vertical movement into a horizontal movement. The conveyor belt is driven by the longitudinal shaft.

The conveyor belt – efficient transport without electricity

The PICSY II conveyor belt is the central element for transporting parts. It is available in two height variants: 45 mm (standard version) and 12 mm (low profile).

Conveyor belts:

Three conveyor belts are available:

Urethane (standard): For transporting products, waste or similar items.
Urethane (ribbled): For transporting thin sheets, light products, etc.
Kevlar (glass fiber): For transporting high-strength materials and heavy products.

Shafts/Couplings:

Use either a link shaft or flexible shaft for linking.
(1) Link shaft: Suitable when the main body and conveyor are on the same axis.
(2) Flexible shaft: Recommended for height differences between the main body and the conveyor.
(3) Coupling: Couplings are not required if using a flexible shaft.
